Hope Cabin

Most people who live up here in the Mother Lode have visited Hope Valley at one time or another. It is one of my favorite places any time of the year. Beautiful mountains - good for snowshoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer, enjoying the bright colored aspen in the Fall. This picture was taken by a friend of mine, who allowed me to use it for a painting, although I did change it a bit. There is one true cabin of hope, if you look carefully at the cabin walls you will see what I mean. The original has been auctioned off as a benefit for our County Department of Education, but I can make reprints of this in any reasonable size you like.
